WILMINGTON, DE, June 18, 2019 – For the third consecutive year, Wilmington’s Downtown Brew Fest returns to the 800 block of North Market Street on Saturday, August 10 from noon until 7:00 p.m. Downtown Brew Fest has become one of Wilmington’s premier summer events. The event is not only a good time, but event proceeds benefit Restore the King, the campaign to renovate Delaware’s King Gambrinus statue.
A $40 general admission ticket (with entry at 1:00 p.m.) includes samples from among more than 100 beers, representing more than 50 breweries. In addition, live music will be provided by three local acts and two DJs. Food will be available for purchase on site from two food trucks and 11 area restaurants.
A VIP admission is $55 and includes all of the benefits of a general admission ticket, plus early event entry at noon, special brews, beer-friendly finger foods served in the VIP area, and free LYFT incentives. VIP tickets are limited.
Purchase your event tickets online. General admission pre-sale tickets are available for just $30 when purchased online by July 10.
The event will also feature the third annual Market Street Home Brew Competition with generous prizes for the winners. Home brew participants are encouraged to contact Joe Van Horn at Chelsea Tavern for contest details at (302) 482-3333.
