During this 24-hour statewide day of giving, our goal is to raise $1,150, the amount needed to carry us to the halfway point of our preliminary $100,000 fundraising goal. Reaching this milestone will mark a major moment in our campaign to conserve and return the 11-foot King Gambrinus statue to public display, where Delaware’s King of Beer belongs.

For decades, King Gambrinus stood proudly atop Wilmington’s Diamond State Brewery, a bold symbol of the city’s rich brewing heritage. Today, he waits patiently in storage—preserved, protected, but not yet restored to his rightful place in public view.
